Living near Nashville, Tennessee has thrown me headfirst into the lives of so many independent artists trying to put their art out for art's sake. It's been an absolute blast to get to watch all of them get hooked on a topic that means a ton to them, spend a ridiculous amount of time writing and tweaking a tune, and then watching them rock the stage in some makeshift house show.
One of my favorite of the extraordinary weirdos is Frank whose super wide range of records flows from rock to hip hop to house. Bopping to Sleeping Noisey and A Theory of the Color Sense made shooting in the freezing rain entirely worth it.
