The second project I've had the pleasure to work with artist Frank Samuel on comes the industrial-esque, alt-rock "I Want to Feel Something"

Taking inspiration from 80's film images of blurred subjects taking off in a full sprint, we selected an abandoned Nashville quarry that fit Frank's vision.  Camera gear, his entire production team, and a friend with a bucket of beer in tow.

After trailblazing our way through a very underused path, we found a perch to take portraits as the sun set.  I am astonished with how crisp these images turned out due to it being incredibly dark out.

The black & white with the blazing red jacket is to match the theme of Frank's full project, RED, using the same shade of red used for his promotional material.
Later that night, we had the idea to douse Frank in water to see what kind of effect we could make with the imagery (It didn't work as planned; however, the did turn out well).  Below are some additional photos taken just for fun!
While editing the project, I made solid cutouts of images where Frank was leaping and of the poses above.  These cutouts lead to the inspiration of the final cover!
Finally, the moment you've been waiting for - drum roll please... The cover for the single!
I had the honor to work with Chloe Wallace, an awesome photographer and graphic designer from Chicago, to produce the cover for the single.  I did one draft design and she did the final draft which was selected for the single!

Here are a few BTS extras taken by Frank:

Carrying gear and hiking at dark? Not a great combo.

Well the project is called RED

I don't know why, but I looked ROUGH in this one. Blair insisted I add it.
