An absolutely massive collection. Flame - Part II is a remake of the original shoot I did spontaneously in 2018. In similar fashion, I wanted to keep this one just as spontaneous, calling up some friends that morning, buying lighter fluid (medical alcohol works 10x better), and doing the shoot for about two hours that night. I also used a wide variety of color corrections to get vastly different feels to each photo.
Over the past two years, I can see myself getting better at composition, blocking, and improvisation. "Had I really improved?" I woke up thinking that morning; over coffee before work I told my roommate, "A remake of one of my original shoots will tell just how much I have actually improved if, God willing, I have at all."
What do you think? Other than the outfits and not one, but TWO flames, have I seen much improvement?
